For the 2022 to 2026 Kawasaki Z 125, this model-specific tank ring provides the connection for a compatible Hepco & Becker BASIC tank bag. The fuel cap can still be opened despite the ring being fitted.

Complete system components

The BASIC tank ring is supplied together with the corresponding retaining plate for the tank bag. The locking system operates mechanically: the tank bag engages with an audible click when placed on the ring, while the front strap on the tank bag is used to release it.

Distinguishing BASIC and Lock-it

The included retaining plate and tank ring belong to the BASIC system. A Lock-it retaining plate cannot be used on it. When installed as intended, no ABE approval or registration is required. The motorcycle manufacturer's specifications and model-specific requirements must also be observed.
