BASIC tank ring for the Fireblade SP 2017–2019

This kit is designed for the 2017 to 2019 Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade SP. Together, the model-specific tank ring and matching BASIC retaining plate allow a compatible Hepco & Becker tank bag to be fitted.

Defined BASIC operation

The locking system is entirely mechanical: the bag clicks audibly into place when fitted and is released again using the front strap. The fuel filler cap can still be opened with the ring fitted.

With the tank bag fitted, the manufacturer recommends a maximum speed of 130 km/h and a load of approximately 3 kg. The position of the retaining plate on the bag depends on the tank shape and steering lock. Lock-it system components are not compatible with this BASIC ring.
