The VERTEX piston kit supports the overhaul of the upper engine area on the Yamaha YZ 250 (CG 23) in the 2006-2023 model year range. It brings together the essential components for replacing pistons, piston rings, piston pins and safety clips. The included top-end gasket set complements the work on the upper engine area.

Design and function

The cast piston is made of aluminum and features standard piston compression. With the two-stroke design, the kit is tailored to the corresponding engine application. The needle bearing for the piston pin is part of the kit for two-stroke applications.
