The YSS Gas Top Line Z-Series rear shock absorber is assigned to the Yamaha XJ 6 S Diversion ABS (RJ 22) in the 2013-2016 model year range. Its adjustable functions allow the damper movement to be specifically adapted to the desired support and control.

Rebound adjustment for controlled damper movement

The rebound button can be used to regulate the flow of hydraulic oil via the vent. When adjusted, the button produces a clicking sound that makes adjustment easier. Shock settings include rebound and preload.

Threaded spring preload

The threaded spring preload ring is screwed into place to compress the spring and ring and lock the ring in the desired position. This allows the spring preload to be adjusted using the adjustment option provided.
