MALOSSI cylinder kit for Yamaha Tricity 125 (SEC 2)

The MALOSSI cylinder kit ø 63 bolts ø 14 H20 I-Tech 4-stroke is assigned to the Yamaha Tricity 125 (SEC 2) in the 2017-2018 model year range. The kit has a cylinder bore of Ø 63 mm, a stroke of 58.7 mm and a displacement of 183 cc.

Technical characteristics

  • Compression ratio: 11.27
  • Cylinder material: Primary aluminum alloy with a high proportion of hardened and tempered silicon
  • Cylinder liner with silicon carbide coating in a galvanic nickel die
  • Cross-smoothing with two diamond passes and tight tolerances
  • Cylinder-piston connection with a tolerance of 0.05 mm
  • Recalculated heat exchange surfaces

Pistons and piston rings

The compact, reinforced piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, low thermal expansion and a tin layer on the sliding surfaces. Machining is carried out on numerically controlled machine tools. Improved heat exchange surfaces support the design of the piston.

The ring package includes a nitrided and chrome-plated steel ring as the first compression ring, a special cast iron ring as the second ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy. The piston rings are designed for high sliding properties and high mechanical strength.

Important assembly information

Installation is only intended with a Force Master 2 control unit. The product is intended exclusively for use in competitions at designated venues in accordance with the regulations of the relevant sports associations.
