The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder with 63 mm bore is intended for the Vespa Sprint 125 3 V Notte built in 2020. The 4-stroke cylinder kit combines a weight-reduced, reinforced piston with a precisely machined cylinder liner and coordinated piston rings.

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, low thermal expansion and tin coating on the sliding surfaces. It is designed with three rings. These include a nitrided and chrome-plated steel I-ring, a special cast ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy.
