MALOSSI cylinder kit Ø 63 for Vespa PX 150

The MALOSSI cylinder kit is intended for the Vespa PX 150 in the full year range from 1978 to 2016. The bore of 63 mm and the displacement of 178 cm³ form the key technical data of the kit. The revised internal fluid dynamics includes profiled transfer channels, an adapted outlet design and channel routing aligned to the gas flow.

Sophisticated cylinder and piston design

The transfer channels align the input flow and support high turbulence. The outlet has a newly designed profile for the gas flow towards the exhaust. The 63 mm diameter two-ring piston has a specially developed profile for high operating temperatures. The two piston rings support smooth sliding and sealing against the pressures generated in the combustion chamber.

Cylinder head and vehicle assignment

The revised cylinder head features twisted cooling fins, a hemispherical internal shape and an inclined, yet central spark plug position.
