MALOSSI MHR Ø167 fan for Vespa PX 125

The MALOSSI MHR fan is designed for the Vespa PX 125 in the 1978-2001 model year range and is intended exclusively for use with VESPower ignitions. Its construction combines a lightweight construction with a wing design tailored to the airflow.

Function and construction

The fan has 12 main blades and 12 auxiliary blades. The more curved main fins support the airflow generated, while the reduced number of main fins reduces the weight of the component. The thermal management is designed for high-performance engines with speeds above 9000 rpm.

The fan is made of solid aluminum and anodized red. The mounting area features a diamond pattern surface. This design supports adhesion to the housing, heat dissipation and low-vibration function. Aluminum does not deform at high temperatures like plastic and therefore contributes to a more even operation.
