Vespa GTR 125 [1977-1978] - racing clutch with Z22 sprocket straight teeth
Description
POLINI racing clutch with Z22 sprocket for Vespa GTR 125
The POLINI racing clutch with Z22 ring gear and straight-toothed pinion is designed for the Vespa GTR 125 built in 1977-1978. Their design uses a reversed functionality: the area connected to the crankshaft is designed as an inner hub, while the outer bell does not take on this function. This creates an independent design for power transmission.
Function and construction
- Pressure plate on thrust bearing for precise actuation
- Aluminum bell as part of the clutch construction
- Block cover with oil collecting groove
- Aluminum discs reinforced with 8 teeth to transmit the driving force
- Straight toothed Z22 pinion for the selected primary gear ratio
The clutch offers the possibility of adapting the spring force to the respective requirements. In addition, the teeth of the primary gear can be selected to coordinate the translation. This version uses a pinion with 22 teeth and straight teeth.
