Malossi H2O cylinder-piston kit for Scomadi TT 200

The H2O cylinder-piston kit from Malossi is designed for the Scomadi TT 200 LC 4 VTC E 4 from 2018-2020. With a bore of Ø 67 mm, 58 mm stroke and 200 cm³ displacement, it offers clearly defined dimensions for intended competition use.

The cylinder is made of a high-silicon, refined and hardened aluminum alloy. Its inner liner has a silicon carbide coating on a galvanic nickel matrix. Cross-smoothing is carried out in two diamond steps while maintaining tight tolerances. Machining on high-precision CNC machines supports dimensionally accurate execution. Newly calculated, extra-large heat exchange surfaces are part of the cylinder design.

Pistons and piston rings

The super-compact piston with three segments is made from a special aluminum-silicon alloy with low thermal expansion. A tin additive is used on the sliding surfaces. The piston, machined on CNC machines, is reduced in weight and reinforced; extra large heat exchange surfaces complement its construction.
