The POLINI ECU Box is an additional, programmable control unit for the 4-stroke engine with electronic injection. It controls the amount of fuel injected by adjusting the injection timing. This allows the injection to be tailored specifically to the POLINI thermal unit and the silencer used.

Function and characteristics

Two preconfigured maps are available for selection. Programming is simple and allows a suitable configuration for the respective version:

• Map 1: POLINI thermal unit with original silencer
• Map 2: POLINI thermal unit with POLINI silencer

The ECU is connected directly to the original injector. The prerequisite for this is appropriate wiring on the vehicle.
