The book Obiettivo Dakar is dedicated to the Paris-Dakar and in particular to the protagonists of the first editions held in Africa. It traces the fascination of a race whose motorcycles, colors, sponsors and graphics are still remembered today.

Stories of people, motorcycles and adventures

Obiettivo Dakar brings together some of these stories and adventures. The stories of eight protagonists, who experienced both the difficulties and the beauty of the event, lead along the paths of the legendary race.

Fabio Marcaccini from Unit Garage is one of the personalities featured in the book. His experiences and work help keep the myth of the Dakar alive. Some Unit Garage ideas also emerged from the experiences at the Dakar and the following rallies.
